Category dedicated to terrier breeds. Judges evaluate adherence to the breed standard, correct coat texture, and natural transitions.

• Without using clippers: 2h30 (small or medium size), 3h (large size)
• With areas allowed to be clipped according to the regulations: 2h – 2h30, depending on size

Commercial Free Style Mix Breeds
Commercial category open to recognized breeds. Focus on practical salon look, balance, and finishing.
Clipper use is allowed.

Beginners
For groomers with up to 2 years of experience. All breeds and techniques are accepted according to EGA regulations.

Pure Breed – Open & Champion
Category dedicated to breeds groomed exclusively with scissors, according to the breed standard. Judges evaluate proportions, symmetry, and quality of the finish.
✘ The use of clippers to create the shape is not allowed.

• Kerry Blue, Wheaten, Black Russian, Bouvier: 2h30

Double Coat
For double-coated breeds. Judges evaluate techniques adapted to this coat type and the preservation of the natural structure.

Beginners Free Workshop
Practical educational session dedicated to beginners. Participants will work under the guidance of the judges.

Spaniels & Setters – Open & Champion
Category dedicated to breeds from this group. Judges evaluate natural appearance, correct technique, and overall harmony.

Asian Style
The Asian category is judged based on the specific aesthetics of the Asian style, creativity, and the quality of technical execution, with emphasis on symmetry, balance, and finishing.
Worktime: 2h

Intermediate
For groomers with more than 2 years of experience who have not moved to the Open class.
Worktime: 2h30

Poodle Standard – Open & Champion
The grooming must follow a style recognized by the breed standard. The muzzle, feet, abdomen, and tail may be clipped before the start. Judges evaluate the precision of clipper and scissor work, as well as the smooth finish.
Worktime:
• Over 45 cm: 2h30

• 15 extra minutes for the top knot.

Poodles Toy, Miniature & Medium – Open & Champion
The same criteria as the Standard class, adapted to the size.
Worktime:
• Up to 45 cm: 2h
• Up to 35 cm: 1h45
• 35–45 cm: 2h

• 15 extra minutes for the top knot.

Breed Standard Showcase
Category for dogs groomed before the competition, strictly according to the breed standard. Judging is based on visual evaluation.
Worktime: 2h30

Model Dogs Creative – Already done
Fully finished Model Dog prepared at home. The works will be displayed on a dedicated table on the first day of the competition.
No working time in the ring.
